This holiday season Utoka’s team of artists collaborated on the concept and production of a practical gift inspired by the young creative agency’s clean, stylized branding – but with a well-designed, disruptive presentation that breaks through the clutter.
Taking their cues from the boutique’s signature branding, Utöka’s artists created a hybrid concept that combined both functionality and great design in a multi-purpose set of coasters that shares the team’s favorite holiday recipes on the front, and a bold design inspired by Utoka’s geometric logo on the flip-side. Constructed out of high-count cotton paper,
the coasters are packaged in a luxurious, high-quality gift box that dons the company’s foil embossed logo.
Utöka’s collective of designers, creative directors, illustrators, fabricators and producers’ attention to detail ensured that the give-away reflected their personal aesthetic, as well as the creative agency’s signature style.
“We set out to create a memorable holiday gift that’s functional and fanciful, with a visually appealing design system that had a gravitational pull,” says Liz Guymon, VP of
Business Development. “The hand-crafted box set is both a conversation piece, as well as a showcase for our staff’s favorite family dishes.”
